From Strindberg to the Stripe API. A detour that works.

I've been building applications and websites for 20 years. First in agencies and startups, now on my own.

It all began as a hobby alongside my Scandinavian Studies – including a year in Gothenburg. Somewhere along the way, the hobby turned into a career.

I'm not just a developer.

At Cineman, I started as a developer and eventually moved into UI design and product ownership. That mix has stuck with me: I can write code and think a product through – end to end.

AI is part of my toolkit.

Claude and friends handle boilerplate, tests, refactoring. What they don't handle: the architecture, the decisions, the conversation with you. That's what you hire me for.

I work mainly with Laravel and the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine, Livewire, Laravel). Plus Statamic as a CMS when content takes centre stage. Vue.js or something else when the project calls for it.

Plus everything else an application needs: from MySQL to Meilisearch, from Git to Cloudflare — and whatever lies in between.

Every line is on me. Tools change; the principles behind them don't.

I live with my family in the Zürcher Oberland.

When I'm not working, I'm outdoors – happiest in the mountains, by the water, or on my gravel bike. That's where the best ideas show up.
