Healthy Indoors makes the science of indoor air clear and accessible – with the goal of creating sustainable, healthy spaces that support wellbeing and productivity. The platform is backed by an alliance of leading HVAC manufacturers. I built their digital presence.

The challenge

Healthy Indoors needs to serve several audiences at the same time:

For industry professionals: A solid knowledge resource with articles, podcasts, and videos – deep in substance, accessible in form.

For property owners, architects, employers, and the public: An accessible way in to a subject that touches everyone but rarely gets attention.

For the alliance itself: A credible platform that brings several manufacturers together under one roof – without letting individual brands push to the front.

Members like Camfil, Swegon, and Condair set the visual standard – clear, factual, high-quality. The real task was holding the balance: between depth and lightness, between science and everyday life.

The solution

The platform rests on four pillars:

Information architecture: Indoor climate, health effects, and research insights form the three main areas. Each subpage goes deeper into one aspect – from filtration to temperature to the microbiome – without overwhelming the reader with jargon.

Visual identity: The logo and design language let the alliance speak with its own voice – neutral, but with character.

Technical implementation: The site is fast, works across all devices, and new content can be added without effort.

International by design: The alliance operates internationally, so multilingual structure was built in from the start.

Results and outlook

The platform is live and gives the alliance a central place to make its mission visible: designing healthier, more productive, more sustainable indoor spaces. Early response from member manufacturers – Camfil, Condair, Swegon among them – shows that the shared presence is working. Where there used to be separate brand voices, a single one is emerging.

Healthy Indoors shows what a well-considered digital platform can do when content, design, and technology work together. I stay involved with the platform and continue to develop it – adding new content and features that bring healthy indoor spaces into view where they belong.
