Handmade jewellery, at home online
Sista Jewelry is a small Swiss label crafting understated, striking pieces from carefully selected materials. I built the online shop they use to sell directly to customers across Switzerland.
The challenge
Sista Jewelry makes handmade pieces with a clear, considered design language – simple, but full of character. The site needed to reflect that, and at the same time function as a dependable sales channel:
Quiet design: The jewellery and its photography needed to lead, not the shop interface around it.
Many categories: Earrings, hoops, bracelets, rings, children's pieces — the collection spans a lot of ground and has to remain easy to browse.
Easy to manage: As a one-woman business, the owner needed to be able to handle new products, images, and orders herself — without any technical overhead.
The solution
The result is a shop that matches Sista’s tone and sells reliably day to day:
Pieces in focus: Generous imagery, quiet type, and understated navigation – everything points to the jewellery.
Everything a shop needs: Cart, customer accounts, vouchers, newsletter signup, and common payment options, all cleanly integrated.
Bilingual by design: German and English sit side by side – fitting for the international audience Sista has built through social media.
Hands-on backend: Products, orders, and content are all managed by the owner herself – no developer required for routine changes.
Results and outlook
Since it went live, the shop has been Sista Jewelry's digital home and its most important sales channel. The owner looks after the collection herself, adds new pieces regularly, and pairs the shop with Instagram as an extended showroom. I stay involved and continue to develop the shop where it's needed.
